Ingredients
- ½ cup oil or ghee
- 1 tsp cumin seeds, 2 bay leaves, 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 medium onions sliced
- 100g Magic Masala
- 6 large tomatoes on the vine chopped / blended (or 1 tin plum tomatoes)
- 1kg lamb (preferably on the bone) leg works well with this
- Fresh coriander
Instructions
- In a large pot add all your ingredients apart from the coriander and stir on a high heat until heated through then turn the heat down low and simmer for 1hr 45 / 2hrs or until cooked and meat is tender.
- Keep checking periodically, if it’s sticking, add a little water and turn heat down.
- Finish with freshly chopped coriander
